Mayor's Address on City Projects
Manitowoc’s mayor is using a city projects address to highlight downtown changes, including a possible ‘drink on the go’ program. That could mean you’ll soon be able to walk around downtown with a beverage, which may reshape nightlife rules and how people spend downtown. Details still need to be finalized, so treat it as a signal rather than a done deal.
Charter ordinance on primary elections
Primaries will now happen automatically whenever three or more candidates file, ending the annual ritual of passing an ordinance for an election that may not even be needed.
