Committee of the Whole - Sep 8, 2026
The city bought the old Madison School from the school district and asked developers to pitch plans for the roughly 8-10 acre lakefront property. Two teams responded — one focusing on bluff-side condos and single-family lots, the other on a mixed neighborhood with rentals and a public lakefront overlook. No decision was made; staff will refine both proposals first.
